CBSE has started online application process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) - 2018 (NEET-UG-2018).  NEET-UG-2018 is required for admissions to 5 1/2 year MBBS Programs & 5 Year BDS Programs across all Medical & Dental Colleges across India.  

NEET-UG-2018 seats are categorized into (i) All India Quota Seats (ii) State Government Quota Seats  (iii) State/Management/NRI Quota Seats in Private Medical / Dental Colleges or any Private/ Deemed University  and (iv) Central Pool Quota Seats.  An All India merit list and All India Rank of the qualified candidates shall be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the National Eligibility-cum Entrance Test and candidates shall be admitted to MBBS/BDS courses from the said list only by following the Existing Reservation Policies. All other existing eligibility criteria for admission to Medical/Dental Colleges shall be applicable as per Rules and Policies of the State/UT/Institution/University concerned.

Key points for NEET-UG-2018:
1. Please note that for Indian citizens and ordinary residents of India, AADHAAR Number is a requirement to fill up the online application of NEET-2018 in all States except J&K, Assam and Meghalaya. 
2. There is no cap for the number of attempts for appearing in NEET-UG-2018. Thus, if a candidate had attempted AIPMT/NEET in the year 2015, 2016, 2017 he/she would still be eligible for NEET-UG-2018.
3. Candidates of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana States have also become eligible for 15% All India Quota seats starting this year.

The NEET-UG-2018 entrance exam shall be held across 150 centres across India on 6th May, 2018 between 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
